Artajunk Wiola

Hi, my name is Wiola. I’m from Poland. Welcome to my world of junk journals, mixed media projects and assemblages i.e. Art & Junk.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved everything old, antiquated and a bit forgotten. There is nothing more fun for me than using old, broken items to create one-of-a-kind, unique decorations, ornaments or diaries.

My adventure with scrapbooking began a few years ago. I started with creating albums, but it quickly turned out that this form limited me too much, it definitely wasn’t for me, and so I found the junk journals, full of mystery and secrets.

Assemblages came soon after I found the junk journals. I love the fact that seemingly ordinary, unnecessary, often rusty objects take on a completely different meaning, creating a coherent, meaningful whole. Nothing makes especially character of our surroundings as much as things with a soul, the only and unique. And these are just what they are!

During my creative journey, I was in many design teams. I have published in British Craft Stamper Magazine. This passion and willingness to share it has brought me to the point where I am now. I run stationary and online art workshops.

During these artistic meetings, step by step you will walk with me through the next stages of creation, according to your level of advancement. You will receive a huge dose of information about the materials themselves, their selection and composition. You will learn my methods, and work out ways to get a fantastic effect.
